First Worship

Music is an important part of worshiping God. First Baptist Church offers two opportunities for you to worship through various music styles each Sunday Morning both online and in person.

  • 8:30 AM Blended Worship
  • 11 AM Contemporary Worship

The Worship Ministry of First Baptist Church Round Rock provides a wide variety of musical opportunities for all ages, preschool through adult. Each service and rehearsal is filled with fellowship, preparation, and praises as we learn music that honors and glorifies God.

Adult Worship Choir

The Worship Choir sings regularly at the 8:30 AM Sunday service. They present a special Christmas program and help lead special event services such as Hymn Sing & Gospel Song Night and multi-generational services. Rehearsals are Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 PM in the Chapel. You may enroll at any time, any rehearsal.

The only requirement is that you can match pitch, blend with other voices and be as faithful as possible to rehearsals and worship services.

Children's Choirs

Children’s Choirs are for 4 year olds (by September 1st of the current school year) through 6th graders. The 2 choirs, Preschool / Kindergarten and Children’s Choir, meet on Sundays, September through May, 4:30-5:30 PM in the First Life Center.

The children sing occasionally on Sunday mornings or evenings. They present a Christmas program in December and end their year the first Sunday in May. The end of year program includes a children’s musical or concert by the Children’s Choir and a short end-of-year program by the Preschool / Kindergarten Choir.

Enrollment is always open – just show up!

Worship Band

It takes a variety of talented people to lead worship at First Baptist Church. You can get involved by auditioning for the worship band. This band leads worship in our 11:00 AM contemporary service. They rehearse Wednesday evenings, 7:30-8:30 PM in the Sanctuary.
