Why FBC Round Rock?
First Baptist Church located in downtown Round Rock, TX is a church poised to impact the generations in our city and beyond. After almost 175 years of ministry in Round Rock, we have a renewed vision of being A Church where Every Person in our City can Experience New Life in Jesus. We expect to see this come about in our church with a 2030 plan of:
-Equipping Every Member for Ministry and Evangelism
-Seeing a Year over Year increase in Baptisms
-Achieving a goal of 1000 in active membership in our current campus, future campuses, and church plant partnerships.
Following a season of reorganization and physical renewal in the past ten years, and now under the leadership of our new Senior Pastor, we are seeing growth in worship attendance, membership, and specifically, growth in our music ministry. We believe God has uniquely positioned us and resourced us to reach all generations in all demographics within our community, and begin a ministry movement that impacts Round Rock, Central Texas, and places in the US and the World.
Our Music Ministry is diverse and vibrant, offering a range of worship styles and opportunities for involvement. We provide both blended worship services, which include a mix of hymns and modern worship songs, and contemporary worship services featuring the latest in contemporary Christian music. Our ministry includes choirs for preschoolers, children, and adults, as well as an orchestra. Each week, our talented musicians and vocalists lead the congregation in worship. Additionally, we host special events such as Hymn Sings and other music-related gatherings to further enrich our community's worship experience.
The staff and volunteer leadership of FBCRR work as a dynamic team to fulfill the mission and vision of our church. The staff culture is very healthy. Some previous staff members have had tenures of 20+ and 30+ years, and we have current staff tenures ranging from a few months to twenty years. The staff works as a team with integrity, openness, and unity.
