Men’s Breakfast 2025
January 11 8:30 - 9:30 am
FBCRR's adult ministry seeks to involve and equip adults for ministry and evangelism through weekly biblical community groups and fellowship to reinvigorate spiritual transformation that fulfills Christ's command in Matthew 28:16-20.
As you scroll down, you will find a curated list of upcoming adult-focused events from our Events page. Below the upcoming adult events, you will find information about our Adult Biblical Communities. Here you can search through all the groups that are offered during our main Bible study hour on Sunday morning.
If you continue to scroll down you will find "Learn More" cards for several of our Adult Ministry Groups. Finally, the last section is our Adult Support Ministry section.
We hope that all of the information will launch you into a lifetime of connection with Christ and fellow believers at FBCRR. If you don't find the answer you're looking for here or in the related pages and links, contact Minister to Adults, Larry Stehr, for more information.
At First Baptist, you will discover there are a lot of groups that you can get involved with, but our primary weekly small group experience for adults is our Adult Biblical Communities (Sunday School and more). We encourage every adult who attends First Baptist to connect with a small Biblical Community. Here you will find the relational connections needed to grow as a disciple to be greater equipped for outreach and ministry.
It is easy to find an Adult Biblical Community. You can visit one of our two welcome centers. One is in the glass atrium of the worship center and the other is in the common lobby of the Family Life Center. There, our staff and volunteers will help you select a group, navigate our campus, and make some introductions.
You can also use our online group finder to narrow down a handful of groups that might be of interest to you. The group finder will even allow you to reach out to group leadership if you have a specific question by clicking the Email/Text button.
Finally, you can always contact Larry Stehr, our Minister of Discipleship, or Colleen Kraus, Adult Ministry Assistant. Either would be more than happy to answer any questions or help you find a group for this Sunday.
While we want everyone who attends First Baptist to be engaged with a Biblical Community, we are also keenly aware that sometimes you need a supportive group that can help you address some specific issues in your life, your family or the ones that you love. Here are some links to groups that meet at First Baptist you might want to explore.

For someone who has lost a loved one through death.
It’s no secret facing a room of strangers is tough. But when those strangers have walked in your shoes, they quickly become helpers. Connect with others at GriefShare who know your pain and can come alongside you through it.
“GriefShare is a safe place to connect and talk and share with others who get it!” – Sandra
GriefShare leaders understand the concerns you have about attending a group. They have grieved a loved one’s death themselves, and they know it can be hard to visit a group. So, they’ll go out of their way to make you comfortable.
