What We Do

The FBCRR CarePortal/Care Closet supports families in crisis by meeting their spiritual and material needs. Responding to a CarePortal request is a simple way to truly empower the families we hope to serve and help them reach their goals.

How To Get Involved

There's a few ways you can get involved in this community-focused ministry, such as donating new or gently used furniture and clothing items, joining our Response Team to help us on furniture deliveries to families in need, and serving in our Clothes Closet to organize donations.

We accept the following new and gently used items:

Headboard/Footboards, Bed Frames
Bunk Beds
Mattresses (Twin/Full/Queen, and NO stains, tears, or other signs of wear)
Bedding
Kitchen Tables/Chairs
Chests of Drawers
Couches
Kitchenware
Washers & Dryers
Clothing
Shoes
Diapers/Wipes
NEW Personal Care Items (Soap, Shampoo/Conditioner, Feminine Hygiene Items, etc)
NEW Socks and Underwear - Children and Adult Sizes
NEW Age-Appropriate Bibles

On behalf of all requesting agencies, we simply ask for used items to be in excellent working condition. All items provided should seek to honor the family who receives them.

If you wish to support this ministry with a financial gift, simply note CarePortal as the designation option when giving online.
