Summer Camp Scholarship
We are committed to making activities affordable to all by offering scholarships.
The main purpose of our activities is to lead children to the Lord and help them grow in their understanding of who God is. We hope that all children who wish to attend an event be given that opportunity. We realize that the financial burden of some activities may present an obstacle for families. We have been blessed by several individuals both inside & outside our church who have provided scholarship funds. So our goal is to help as many as we feasibly can.

About Kids Connection
We are now the KIDS CONNECTION – Where Faith and Family Come Together! Within the new logo, there are four puzzle pieces. These four puzzle pieces stand for Faith, Family, Fun, and Friends.
You will see our NEW sign right outside the doors to the hallway when you arrive. We know our kids have many “pieces” of their lives that they must fit together and we want the kids to know that their church family and their personal family are both parts of the BIG PUZZLE God has fit together perfectly just for them!
Kids Connection is an exciting place where children have a blast while they experience a loving God. Every activity is intentionally planned for your child to connect with peers, develop friendships with godly leaders, and most importantly, engage in a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ while they are young (1 Timothy 4:12). Kids Connection includes all kids from Birth – 6th grade.
Sunday Mornings
Each child is taught in an age-appropriate environment in small groups and cared for in an individual way. Kids connect with peers and leaders through interactive games on Sunday mornings, connect to God with radical music, and learn of Him through videos and outstanding teachers. Your child will love our fun, nurturing, Christ-centered classrooms!
- 8:30AM – Worship care for Babies – 4s
- 9:45AM – Bible Study for ALL ages
- 11:00AM – Worship care for Babies – 4s
Wednesday Evenings
TeamKID is a fast-paced, exciting approach to teaching kids the Bible, how to apply spiritual truths to their daily lives, memorize Scripture, experience missions, to live on mission, play Bible-related recreational games, and have FUN!
- Registration opens July 1st
- August 21st, 2024 – May 14th, 2025
- 6:00 – 7:30PM
- For 3’s – Completed 6th grade. (must be age 3 by September 1st, 2024)
- Light snack dinner provided (if your child has food allergies please plan to send them with a snack and please let us know.)

Just 6th is a special year in children’s ministry. We know that the first year of middle school can be challenging and exciting. We keep the 6th graders in the children’s ministry, however, we do special events, mission projects, and lead park days in the summer. They also have a stand-alone curriculum for Sunday mornings.
Safety and Security
The safety and security of your children is a high priority for us!
CHECK-IN
We have a computerized check-in system on Sunday mornings which will print a sticker for each child as well as a Security Pick-Up Tag for parents or guardians. Children will not be released without the Security Tag.
HALLWAY SECURITY
We have a person at the preschool information desk at all times when children are present. We also have the ability to lock down the hallway if necessary.
TWO WORKER RULE
First Baptist Church takes seriously our priority of child safety and security, therefore we are committed to our policy which requires two pre-screened, approved workers be present with children at all times. The only exception to this is our Tuesday/Thursday preschool which follows the state guidelines for child/teacher ratios.
